Macy's White Mountain law boots come in black, cognac and burgundy.
Size 7.5 - Black. Just to be clear ;)
I'm 5'2" and have average leg length for being short.
Jeans (8P): Loft modern straight leg jeans
No excessive bagging at the ankles.
I think of White Mountain as a lower price, hence lower quality brand. However, these felt sooooo comfortable on. I couldn't deny how instantly comfortable they felt.
The leather seemed nice. Not plastic-y or cheap. It's pebbled. I prefer smooth leather, but the pebbling was fine. It wasn't too pronounced. I wasn't a fan of the stitching design on the outside of the boot. It was a little Western for me in the online pic, but it doesn't scream that irl.
The Feeling
I like these boots quite a bit. The length of this boot is probably one of the best I could choose for my frame. However, I couldn't help but feeling like I'd still prefer a boot that hits higher on the leg, close to the knee. In general, I will say thumbs up. I found the leather to be satisfactory. I like the low heel, instead of a completely flat boot. I like the inside zip. And I like that it covered my jeans with ease and still has a tight fit to the leg.
Macy's has a code WKND, good thru 1/21, for an additional 10% - 15% off. I'm not sure if it's good on shoes. This Coach Tasha rainboot (pictured) is cute. On sale right now for $99.99. If you don't like the gold buckle, and like the Coach logo, see the Coach pearl rainboot, also currently $99.99.
And these two bargains - I don't have any try-on or ownership experience with INC shoes to share, unfortunately.
Thanks for visiting!
